Podcasts in the library
There can be many ways podcasts can be used in a library setting. For instance, podcasts can be used for digital storytelling in the library. Librarians can also use podcast to introduce new reading or reviews of books to keep students updated on the latest.

It is very simple to create an account and upload recordings.

Challenges
I had trouble putting different recordings together to make a complete podcast. It either has to be a continuous recording or one has to edit in another website.

Pros
The basic program is free to all users. 
Provides another avenue for students, teachers, and parents to communicate.
Promotes student engagement and communication among peers. 
It can be used to help differentiate with students in class. 
Can assist students develop better listening and speaking levels.

No editing tools and no added effects
Expensive if someone would like to purchase

I found Soundcloud more user friendly especially for those that have never created a podcast.

Understanding the features that come along with this website was a bit challenging. I think that for students that are older it could be used but not for middle and high school students.

I think that other websites are more user friendly. Even with the step by step I think students would struggle a bit. I found other websites like Podbean more useful.

    I like your sound recording. I also like the facts that your are preparing your students for the next chapter in their lives. Great platform in using a podcast to get your message across. The information you provided will benefit to your students.

    I also preferred Soundcloud over the other two apps. Your podcast was great and I am sure your students loved the message!

    Soundcloud was also my choice! I found it easy to work with and was able to upload pretty quickly. Your podcast was really well done and informative.

Vardell Chapter Four Reflection  Chapter four begins introducing some of the most noted authors in poetry such as Shel Silverstein and Jack  Prel utsky. This is because it is difficult to be a known author  for libraries today lack books in this genre due to a shortage of poetry  in children's literature. Plot Summary Main character Amal is a 16 year old Muslim school girl. She has a happy household in which her mother wears a headscarf. As a high school student no one expected for her to want to wear a hijab.
