Pathfinder
This list of resources, or Pathfinder, shall be used to aid in the research of the solar system.
A solar system is a star and all of the objects that travel around it — planets, moons, asteroids, comets and meteoroids. Most stars host their own planets, so there are likely tens of billions of other solar systems in the Milky Way galaxy alone. Solar systems can also have more than one star. These are called binary star systems if there are two stars, or multi-star systems if there are three or more stars. Definition courtesy of:

Audio Book
This book is an introduction to our planetary neighbors and our solar system. It is a kid friendly audio book that is equipped with the basic vocabulary and relates the topic to help students understand.

This book not only provides on the planets that create our solar system, but includes information on black holes and other alien planets. The author includes famous scientists and their contributions to space exploration. The book is easy to read and has diagrams, photographs and black-and-white illustrations.

This book includes the latest news of solar system exploration. The author provides up to date information of planets, satellites, and other extraterrestrial objects. The book is a great way to introduce students to the wonders of outer space. It as well includes colorful illustrations.

This story book goes over the planets meteorological data. The book includes information about hurricanes on Earth to Jupiter’s Great Red Spot. There are charts and tables with information on planets climate.

This DVD tours the solar system taking
viewers to each of the planets in our solar system. It discusses the main
characteristics of each planet. In addition, it mentions the modern day
technology used to acquire information about our solar system.
