  • Its a great website if users want to use their imagination to create an original comic. 
  • One can save the comic to an account, e-mail, or print. 
Cons

  • User must create an account that requires an e-mail which many younger students do not have. 



Pixton
Pros 

  • There are many background options that make creating a comic strip easier to construct. 
  • There are also multiple characters to choose from. 
  • Different free features available to the user
  • E-mail sharing options along with saving it to profile. 
  • Due to the gallery having many options its very simple to create a colorful comic. 
  • From all three websites this was more user friendly. 

Cons

  • Students must create own account. 

MakeBeliefsComix

Pros

  • This website is great for beginners.
  • The page is simple to access and use. 
  • Users can simply save to desktop, e-mail, or print the comic strip. 
  • Students do not have to make an account. 

Cons

  • The website has limited free features and the comic strips are not in color.

  1. I loved your cartoons; especially since all three have a science theme to them. A way to get around needing an email to use the sites is to create library email accounts. For examples; they can be Library1@gmail.com; library2@gmail.com; library3@gmail.com, etc. The library keeps the passwords and the students can log into the sites using the library's email account to complete their assignment. At the end they just log off; and someone in another class can use the same log in information. Also you stated that in the last application there was no color for the cartoons. I am not sure where you looked; because I was able to use color in my cartoons for that app.
    Once again your cartoons were great!

    LOVE your MakeBeliefsComix...really informative and entertaining...just what our students need! Great job on the pros and cons of each site. I'm looking forward to sharing the sites with my teachers...I think comic strips will be a great way to share information and for students to recap learning! -Teresa :)
